Seminar content:
In recent decades, the concepts for the build-up and restoration of endodonticallytreated teeth have changed significantly. Today, alternative build-up options for endodontically treated teeth are available in numerous situations, which can avoid the use of root canal posts and are preferable due to their less invasiveness. Even in the definitive restoration of endodontically treated teeth, full crowns are now considered critical in numerous indications and minimally invasive restorations with veneers and/or onlays or partial crowns are preferred. However, this requires detailed knowledge of the material properties of translucent ceramics and the possibility of combining them with suitable adhesive build-up and luting materials in order to mask severely discolored tooth structure in a minimally invasive manner.
The aim of the webinar is to develop a clear concept for the restoration of endodontically treated teeth with teeth with varying degrees of destruction.
